The judging panel selected this year’s top 30 green property developers in Mainland China based on their overall “Green Index”, which is calculated according to the property developers’ total GFA that has attained China “Evaluation Standard for Green Building” and U.S. LEED certification, online voting results and judging panel’s comments on property developers’ achievement in energy saving and environmental protection.?
First launched in 2015, the “Mainland China’s Green Property Developers” award program is supported by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China, China Building Energy Efficiency Association, China Green Building Council, U.S. Green Building Council, German Sustainable Building Council and BREEAM. The program aims to recognise the award-winning property developers’ achievement in green building and environmental protection and to encourage more developers to put green building into practice.?
