(12 April 2017, Hong Kong) New World China Land Limited ("NWCL" or "the Company") was prominently recognised on the “2017 Non-mainland Best Real Estate Enterprise Ranking List” and received the “Caring Company” logo during the first quarter of 2017 in mainland China and Hong Kong, respectively for its outstanding performance in business operations and corporate social responsibility.

Organised by Guandian, the “2017 Non-mainland Best Real Estate Enterprise Ranking List” selects the 10 best non-mainland Chinese real estate developers based on judging criteria such as business results, landbank, number of cities with business operations, and other factors. For the period from July to December 2016, the overall contracted property sales of NWCL reached RMB12,786 million in gross sales proceeds and a GFA of 654,074 sq. m. As at 30 June 2016, the Company’s projects spanned 21 cities across mainland China and its landbank reached 11 million sq. m. As a result, NWCL was listed fourth on the “2017 Non-mainland Best Real Estate Enterprise Ranking List”.

Organised by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Caring Company Scheme encourages business enterprises to care for the environment, the community and their employees. In line with its high priority towards sustainable development, NWCL introduced the “NWCL Green Building Design Guidelines” in 2014. Currently, a total of 12 NWCL projects have attained U.S. LEED Gold certification or pre-certification, covering a total GFA of 926,000 sq. m. Projects that have earned the two star and three star China “Evaluation Standard for Green Buildings” total a GFA of over 1 million sq. m.
